I'm a sloucher or a huncher. I don't sit with my back straight. I know, bad habit. However, the way this chair is designed perfectly fits my lower back and provides all over support for it. No back pain from sitting long periods of time.
This will be my 2nd purchase. My first chair lasted about 2 years but the gas lift finally gave out and it now permanently sinks. I can't have that with my desk. This could be a poor gas lift or my 250lb bulk sitting in it for 5+ hours per day. That's why it gets 4 stars instead of 5.
Assembly is easy and fast.
I'm surprised at all the poor reviews. Had it not been for the gas lift, I'd still be using this chair as it's comfy and excellent for your back.
I agree with other reviews, there is no head rest. If you like to lean back AND look at your screen, well, that won't happen -- you'll need a pillow.
I hate leather, I always get the fabric type.
